Marco Mazereeuw is a Professor of practice-based research in Vocational Pedagogy and Lifelong Development at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, collaborating with Friesland College. His work focuses on guiding professionals to foster agility and resilience in workforces amid rapid technological and societal changes. He emphasizes the role of educators and career coaches in enabling professionals to navigate unpredictable career trajectories.
Since 1999, Mazereeuw has held roles at Friesland College, progressing from lecturer and department chair in Natural Sciences & Environment to associate professor and now professor. He co-leads the research group Vocational Pedagogy and Lifelong Development with professor Siebrich de Vries, aiming to strengthen vocational and secondary education through collaborative research with schools and teacher training institutes.
