Marco Maffezzoli is an Associate Professor of Economics at Bocconi University and holds fellowships at the Innocenzo Gasparini Institute for Economic Research (IGIER) and the Centre on Economics, Finance and Regulation (BAFFI). He completed his undergraduate studies at Bocconi University (1994), followed by an MSc in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Southampton and a Doctorate in Economics from Bocconi University.
His research and teaching focus spans macroeconomic theory and policy, with particular emphasis on economic trends, growth models, and contemporary economic problems. At Bocconi, he coordinates multiple courses including Macroeconomic Trends, Applied Macroeconomics, and Foundations of Economics at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
With extensive teaching experience since 1996, Dr. Maffezzoli has developed curriculum across academic levels including PhD courses in Macroeconomics, MBA programs, and specialized master's degrees. His pedagogical approach emphasizes integrating theoretical frameworks with contemporary economic challenges.
