Barbara Rindi is an Associate Professor of Economics at Bocconi University, affiliated with the Innocenzo Gasparini Institute for Economics Research (IGIER) and Baffi Carefin. She specializes in market microstructure, financial regulation, and market design. Her research explores limit order markets, tick size policies, dark pool trading, and closing auction mechanisms. She co-authored The Microstructure of Financial Markets (Cambridge University Press) and serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Financial Markets.
Research Interests: Market microstructure, financial market regulation, market design, trading frictions, intermarket competition, and closing auction dynamics.
