Fulvio Ortu is a Full Professor of Finance at Bocconi University, Italy. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Trieste and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago. Prior to Bocconi, he taught at Columbia University and the University of Southern California. His roles at Bocconi include founding Dean of the Ph.D. School (2004–2008), Dean for International Affairs (2008–2012), and Head of the Department of Finance (2019–2022).
