Marco Casari is a Full Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna's Department of Economic Sciences. He specializes in experimental and behavioral economics, environmental economics, and institutional economics. He holds a PhD from the California Institute of Technology and has held positions at Stanford, Purdue, Ohio State, and other institutions. His research focuses on cooperation in social dilemmas, climate change governance, and the foundations of monetary systems.
