Prof. Gabriele Camera is a faculty member at Chapman University's Argyros School of Business and Economics, affiliated with the Economic Science Institute (ESI). His research focuses on experimental economics, monetary theory, and game theory, with emphasis on cooperation, financial systems, and policy implications. He holds a terminal Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Iowa (1997).
Research interests include monetary systems, behavioral economics, and institutional design. Recent work examines digital currencies, financial contagion, and inequality's impact on economic integration. Over 150 publications in top journals like *Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization* and *American Economic Journal: Microeconomics*.
Collaborates widely, with co-authors such as Alessandro Gioffré, Marco Casari, and Jaehong Kim. Active in experimental economics, studying market formation, cooperation mechanisms, and policy experiments. Leads research at ESI, a hub for experimental and behavioral economics.
