Marcel Verweij is a Professor of Philosophical Ethics and Director of the Ethics Institute at Utrecht University's Faculty of Humanities. His research focuses on practical ethics, particularly public health ethics, vaccination policy, and the interplay between moral philosophy and policy-making. He has contributed to over 25 advisory reports for the Dutch Health Council and advises organizations like Zorginstituut Nederland on healthcare policies.
