Marcantonio Spada

Prof. Marcantonio Spada is an Emeritus Professor of Addictive Behaviors and Mental Health at London South Bank University (LSBU), where he previously served as Dean of the School of Applied Sciences (2021–2024). He holds a distinguished academic career spanning roles as Professor of Psychology (2013), leader of the Division of Psychology (2015–2020), and prior positions at the University of Roehampton and London Metropolitan University. His research focuses on metacognitive factors in addictive behaviors, with over 200 peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals. Notably, he is Editor-in-Chief of Addictive Behaviors and co-founder of Addictive Behaviors Reports.
