Marc Vermeulen

Prof. Marc Vermeulen is a Full Professor of Educational Sociology at TIAS School for Business and Society, Tilburg University. He serves as Academic Director of the Strategy, Innovation and Governance program for public sector leaders and teaches strategic developments in the public domain. His research focuses on education systems, public policy, and strategic foresight, with extensions to healthcare and public administration. He advises major institutions and governments, including roles with OECD and South Africa’s Department of Performance Monitoring & Evaluation. Additionally, he chairs the Southern Court of Audit and sits on supervisory boards of organizations in education, social services, and accreditation.
