Marc Rodger, MD, MSc is Professor in the Department of Medicine (Division of Hematology) at McGill University and Senior Scientist at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC). He co-directs the Cardiovascular Health Across the Lifespan Program and is a core member of the Centre for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE).
Education & Training: Dr Rodger earned his MD and subsequently an MSc, completing specialized training in internal medicine and hematology that underpins his dual clinical-research career.

Across > 250 peer-reviewed publications since 1998, his work defines current understanding of VTE recurrence risk, debunked routine LMWH prophylaxis for recurrent placenta-mediated complications, and established evidence-based tools now embedded in international guidelines.

His multidisciplinary group includes hematologists, obstetricians, epidemiologists, health economists, and graduate trainees conducting trials across six continents.
