Lisa Baumann Kreuziger

Lisa Baumann Kreuziger serves as Professor in the Department of Medicine at Medical College of Wisconsin, Senior Medical Director of Hematology at Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin and Versiti Medical Sciences Institute, and Investigator at Versiti Blood Research Institute. Her integrated academic-clinical role bridges medical education, patient care leadership, and translational research in hematology.

Her research focuses on thrombosis mechanisms and treatment optimization for bleeding/clotting disorders, with emphasis on cancer-associated thrombosis, catheter-related events, and pandemic-related coagulopathies. Leading the Venous thromboEbolism Network U.S. (VENUS), she directs multicenter clinical trials that translate evidence into practice guidelines.
