Marc N Jacobs is a Professor in the Department of Theatre & Dance at California State University, East Bay (CSUEB). He holds an MFA and has extensive professional experience in theatre, musicals, and opera direction. His career includes collaborations with renowned institutions like the Guthrie Theatre, American Shakespeare Festival, and Broadway By the Bay.
Education: Trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Research & Creative Work: Jacobs specializes in directing, playwriting, and musical theatre production. His original works include How to Make a Musical (NEA-funded) and All the More to Love, which toured internationally. He co-created The Iago Syndrome, honored at the Kennedy Center Festival.
