Diane Maltester is a Lecturer of Clarinet in the Department of Music at California State University, East Bay (CSUEB). She has been a faculty member at Los Medanos College since 1980 and currently teaches clarinet at CSUEB while serving as co-conductor of the Diablo Wind Symphony. Her professional affiliations include roles as principal clarinetist with the Napa Valley Symphony, Vallejo Symphony, Fremont Philharmonic Orchestra, and Festival Opera, alongside membership in the Oakland East Bay Symphony.
