Marc Kruse is the Director of Indigenous Legal Learning and Services at the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Law. He holds a JD from the University of Manitoba and co-teaches the Indigenous Course Requirement course. His research bridges philosophical ethics, political philosophy, and law, focusing on how educational systems can address systemic legal issues. He practices criminal defense at Rees Dyck Rogala Law Offices while advocating for Indigenous legal methodologies.
Research interests include Indigenous educational ethics, social justice pedagogy, and ecological justice frameworks. His publications explore mutual aid in education, decolonial methodologies, and Indigenous legal strategies. Key contributions include analyses of First Nations injunctions and the ethics of professional legal practice.
