Marc Hart

Marc Hart is a Professor of Small Business and Entrepreneurship at Aston Business School, where he also serves as Associate Director of the Aston Centre for Growth. He is the Academic Lead for the national Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme and Deputy Director of the Enterprise Research Centre (Aston University & University of Warwick partnership). His research focuses on business growth, productivity, SME dynamics, and access to finance.

• Appointed to UK Government’s Help to Grow Management Programme Expert Advisory Council (2021) by Chancellor Rishi Sunak
• Manages the GEM UK national team for the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM)
