Marc Esteve

Professor Marc Esteve is a Professor of Public Management at the UCL School of Public Policy and co-directs the Global Executive MPA program with New York University. He also serves as a visiting professor at ESADE Business School-Ramon Llull University and directs the ESADE Center for Public Governance. He holds a PhD in Management Sciences from ESADE (2012) and has held postdoctoral and visiting fellow positions at Cardiff Business School.

His research focuses on improving public service implementation through collaboration at individual, organizational, and societal levels. Key themes include prosocial attitudes, inter-organizational collaboration management, and methodological advancements in public administration research. He has published extensively in journals like Public Administration Review and Public Management Review.

Professor Esteve is Editor of Local Government Studies and contributes to editorial boards of journals such as International Public Management Journal. His work bridges theory and practice, addressing challenges like AI adoption, public-private partnerships, and governance resilience. He teaches modules on policy implementation, leadership, and organizational change and supervises PhD students in public management and related fields.
