Marc E. Walker

Dr. Marc E. Walker serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery and Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He holds the Songcharoen Endowed Chair of Plastic and Reconstructive Hand Surgery and directs the Jabaley-Songcharoen Center for Hand, Upper Extremity, and Nerve Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), with clinical practice across multiple Mississippi locations including Jackson, Canton, and Ridgeland.

He actively advances international surgical mission work through Hand Help, Inc., focusing on underserved populations while pioneering healthcare innovation as evidenced by his 2022 Mississippi Healthcare Innovation Hackathon victory.
