Manuela DE GIORGI is an Associate Professor at the University of Salento’s Department of Cultural Heritage, specializing in Medieval and Byzantine Art History. Her research focuses on cultural heritage diagnostics, art conservation, and interdisciplinary studies of historical artifacts. She holds a PhD in Art History (2006) and has led projects such as DiaCavHe (rock heritage diagnostics) and Marmora Phrygiae (Byzantine sculpture analysis).
