Daniele MARTELLO is Full Professor of Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics at the University of Salento’s Department of Mathematics and Physics "Ennio De Giorgi" and, since 2019, Director of the Lecce Section of INFN (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare). He also represents the University of Salento in the National Supercomputing Center and the MAD project (Additive Metamorphosis of Design).

Research Interests
Prof. Martello’s work lies at the intersection of particle physics, astrophysics and computational science. He develops advanced statistical and data-analysis techniques required for large-scale astroparticle experiments and applies computational physics methods to model complex detector systems and Monte-Carlo simulations.
