Professor Malcolm McCulloch is an Emeritus Professor and ARC Laureate Fellow at the University of Western Australia’s Oceans Institute. He leads Program 3 of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies, focusing on ‘Responding to a changing world’. His research emphasizes coral reef resilience under climate change, ocean acidification, and biogenic calcification. He holds affiliations with the School of Earth and Oceans and has held prior roles at the Australian National University.
