Dr. Malcolm King is a Researcher and Scientific Director of the Saskatchewan Centre for Patient Oriented Research (SCPOR) at the University of Saskatchewan's Faculty of Health Sciences. A member of the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation, his work focuses on Indigenous health equity, wellness, and culturally appropriate care. He previously led the CIHR Institute of Aboriginal Peoples’ Health (2009–2016), shaping Canada's Indigenous health research agenda. Key achievements include advancing health indicators and workforce development globally. Awards include a National Aboriginal Achievement Award and Canadian Academy of Health Sciences Fellowship.
