Dr. Maki Yoshida is a Lecturer in Global and Language Studies at RMIT University's School of Global, Urban and Social Studies. Her research focuses on intersections of language, gender, sexuality, and inclusive education, particularly in Japanese language pedagogy. She coordinates the 'Gender-Just & LGBTIQA+ Inclusive Language in Japanese Studies' project and collaborates with the International Network for Gender and Sexuality in Japanese Language Education to develop inclusive teaching resources.
