Maisie Plourde is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Maine at Fort Kent (UMFK). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from UMFK (2013) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Chamberlain University (2019). Her professional experience spans long-term care, medical-surgical acute nursing, operating room, endoscopy, and postpartum nursing. She joined UMFK in 2019 and is based in Nadeau 230.
Her expertise includes clinical nursing practice, geriatric care, and perioperative nursing. Outside academia, she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
