Dr Maham Zaman is a PhD Student in Public Services Management and Organisation and Research Associate at King's Business School, King's College London. A fully registered medical doctor with the General Medical Council UK, Maham integrates clinical expertise with academic research in public health systems and policy implementation.
Research focuses on reducing health disparities through innovative community interventions, including a current Cancer Alliance London Fellowship 2022 project: "Hairdressing salons to promote NHS online application to reduce underdiagnosis of breast cancer among women in London's deprived and ethnically diverse neighbourhoods: a feasibility study." Core interests span health policy analysis, equity in service delivery, and behavioral approaches to disease prevention.
