Chiamaka Nwosu is a Lecturer in Policy Evaluation at King’s Business School, King’s College London, specializing in Public Services Management & Organisation. She serves as impact evaluation lead for education-related projects focusing on children and young people. Her research emphasizes equity in higher education, particularly access and outcomes for non-traditional and underrepresented groups. Prior to academia, she worked at the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organisation addressing food insecurity.
Education: PhD in Higher Education Policy (King’s College London, funded by Office of National Statistics). Key research areas include ethnic minority career development, race equality initiatives, and socio-economic barriers in education. She has led/co-investigated multiple projects including 'Mixed-Heritage Young People's Educational Experiences in London' and 'Parent Power: Reducing Educational Inequalities'.
Grants & Projects: Currently involved in 2 active projects and 2 completed initiatives funded by bodies like ESRC and Centre for Homelessness Impact. Collaborates on interventions addressing homelessness and parental engagement in education.
