Madelynne Arden

Professor Madelynne Arden is a Professor of Health Psychology and Head of the Centre for Behavioural Science and Applied Psychology (CeBSAP) at Sheffield Hallam University. She joined the university in 2000 and was promoted to her current rank in 2015. Her work focuses on developing and evaluating behavior change interventions for health-related issues such as medication adherence, smoking cessation, alcohol reduction, and physical activity. She holds Chartered Psychologist status and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. As a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she teaches on the MSc Health Psychology program and supervises PhD students in health behavior research.
