Madeline Scanlon

Madeline Scanlon is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.S. in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University, and dual bachelor's degrees from Robert Morris University.

Her research investigates empirical corporate finance with applications in political economy and labor economics. Work has been published in the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. She previously taught at the University of Pittsburgh and emphasizes data-driven analysis in financial decision-making.
