Christian Jensen

Christian Jensen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. He teaches macroeconomics and money and banking at both graduate and undergraduate levels.

Education:

• Ph.D. in Economics, Carnegie Mellon University (2003)
• M.S. in Economics, Carnegie Mellon University (2001)
• B.S. (Licenciature) in Economics, Carlos III University, Madrid, Spain

Research Interests: Christian's work focuses on macroeconomic and monetary theory, with applications to dynamic policy challenges. His research has been published in journals such as the Scottish Journal of Political Economy and the International Journal of Central Banking.

Academic Background: He studied at the University of Oslo in Norway and Carlos III University in Spain as an undergraduate. Before joining the Darla Moore School of Business in 2007, he taught at Southern Methodist University.
