Dr. Maddy French is a Senior Research Fellow in Palliative Care (Sue Ryder) and Lecturer in Palliative Care Research at Lancaster University's Faculty of Health and Medicine. She holds an MPH in Public Health and focuses on mixed-methods research addressing equity in palliative and end-of-life care, particularly exploring social deprivation's impact on hospice access and healthcare outcomes. Current research includes the socio-economic effects of the pandemic on coastal communities and ethical practices surrounding end-of-life care.
