Mack Gingles is an Associate Professor of Art at Baylor University, where he has been a faculty member since 2011. His narrative paintings, addressing climate change and its existential impacts, have been exhibited internationally in over 70 group exhibitions across the U.S., Belarus, Macedonia, Serbia, South Korea, and Estonia.
- Education: MFA from Louisiana State University, BFA from Louisiana Tech University (dual degrees).
Gingles' work, such as his solo exhibition By a Thread at the University of Kentucky, explores liminal spaces and absurd human-animal interactions in post-flood dystopias. His practice draws from literary philosophy, notably Samuel Beckett's themes of perseverance in Waiting for Godot.
