Lynne Wyness is an Associate Professor in Academic Development at the School of Education, Marjon University. She leads the online Master's programme in Professional Education Practice and contributes to academic development initiatives, including the Marjon Curriculum Framework. Her roles include teaching on modules for the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice and supporting new academics.
Education qualifications include a PhD in Human Geography (University of Exeter, 2012), MSc in Sustainable Development (2008), PGCE (1993), and BA (Hons) Geography (1991). She holds an Advanced Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring (2020).
Research interests focus on values-based digital learning, mental health in higher education, entrepreneurship and sustainability education, interdisciplinary learning, and geographies of education. Her work bridges pedagogical innovation with sustainable development, emphasizing collaboration across disciplines.
