Lynne M. Andersson is an Associate Professor of Management at Temple University's Fox School of Business and Management. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior/Social Issues in Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research focuses on the 'dark side' of organizations, examining issues like cynicism, corruption, workplace incivility, and philanthrocapitalism's negative impacts. She advocates for sustainable business practices and socially responsible decision-making.
Teaching specialties include Business, Society and Ethics, and Corporate Sustainability at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Recognized for innovative pedagogy, she received the 2006 Andrisani-Frank Teaching Award and 2005 Musser Leadership Award. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia.
Recent publications analyze organizational freedom dynamics, critical perspectives on neoliberalism, and systemic critiques of capitalism. Her work bridges academic research with practical implications for ecologizing and humanizing business education.
