Katherine Nelson is a full-time Assistant Professor at the Fox School of Business and Management, Temple University, specializing in Management. She teaches courses including Business Ethics, HR Management, and 'HR on the Ground,' which was nationally recognized by U.S. News & World Report. Her career spans 30 years in business, including leadership roles at Mercer Human Resources Consulting, Citicorp, and Honeywell, with expertise in HR communication and ethics training.
- Education: B.A. from College of Mount St. Vincent; coursework at Temple, Harvard, and SUNY.
Her research focuses on business ethics training methodologies, organizational communication, and leadership development. She co-authored the seminal textbook Managing Business Ethics (Wiley), now in its 7th edition. Her work The Work Ethic game, developed at Citicorp, received international acclaim and is used globally in business education.
Notable awards include the Fox School’s Andrisani-Frank Teaching Award (2010) and Dean’s Teaching Fellow designation (2011).
