Lynn Martin is Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Anglia Ruskin University's Faculty of Business and Law. She earned her PhD in Human Capital Formation in Small Firms from the University of Warwick and serves as Academic Advisor for X-forces Enterprise. A President and Fellow of the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, her research examines identity work in technology and innovation contexts, with particular focus on gender dynamics in entrepreneurial leadership.
Her research explores:
- Identity construction in innovation ecosystems
- Gender disparities in STEM entrepreneurship
- Technology adoption in small creative businesses
- Organizational learning in high-growth firms
Honors include ESRC, AHRC, and EPSRC grants totaling over £300k, best paper awards from ISBE and BAM conferences, and fellowship positions at multiple research councils. She mentors three high-growth tech startups and serves on scientific councils for European equity initiatives.
