Lynn Domina is a Professor in the Department of English at Northern Michigan University. She holds a Ph.D. in English from SUNY Stony Brook, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing/Poetry from the University of Alabama, a B.A. in English from Michigan State University, and is completing an M.Div. from the Earlham School of Religion. Her expertise spans American, African American, and Native American literature, with a focus on poetry and creative writing.

Her research explores intersections of literature, religion, and cultural history. Notable works include poetry collections *Corporal Works* (winner of the Four Way Books Intro Series Prize) and *Framed in Silence*, as well as scholarly books like *The Harlem Renaissance: A Historical Exploration of Literature*. She is currently completing a book on Crow Indian memoir and ethnography.
Her poetry and essays appear in journals such as *The Southern Review*, *The Gettysburg Review*, and *Studies in American Indian Literature*. Domina’s work has been recognized with awards including the Intro Series Prize. She resides in Marquette with her family.
