Lynlea Small

Dr. Lynlea Small is a Lecturer in Workplace Integrated Learning at the University of the Sunshine Coast's School of Business and Creative Industries. She joined UniSC in March 2021 and was appointed to her current role in February 2024. Her research focuses on work-integrated learning (WIL) and graduate employability, with her PhD being the first Australian study on how workplace supervisor relationships enhance employability for business student interns.

Research Interests: Dr. Small's work centers on facilitating university-industry collaborations through WIL placements and projects across South-East Queensland. She has led research initiatives such as 'Developing good practice WIL' and currently investigates the use of the CareerEDGE Employability Development Profile to measure employability perceptions.

Beyond academia, her book The Vo Rogue Show was shortlisted for the 2024 Bill Whittaker Book Award.
