Liz Bracken is a WPL Academic in the School of Business at Charles Sturt University (CSU), specializing in workplace learning and employability. She previously served as Sub Dean of Workplace Learning and Accreditation, leading policy development and compliance across disciplines like business, psychology, policing, and engineering. Her current focus includes completing a doctorate on graduate employability measurement and embedding Australian Indigenous Cultural Competency into WPL curricula.
Education: Bachelor of Business (Marketing), Bachelor of Business (1st Class Hons), and Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, all from Charles Sturt University.
Research interests center on employability frameworks, work-integrated learning (WIL), graduate employability metrics, and accreditation standards. She actively contributes to the Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN) as NSW/ACT Secretary and member, promoting best practices in workplace learning.
Key achievements include receiving the Charles Sturt 2020 Excellence Awards and the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence. Her work addresses equity in WIL programs and strategic employability initiatives.
