Lynda S. Lemisch is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy. She holds certifications in Life Care Planning and Aging in Place, and is the POTA representative for Geriatrics. Her clinical practice spans 33 years across diverse settings, excluding schools, with a focus on homecare and hospice. She values creativity, family, and inclusivity, and actively engages in community programs and intergenerational initiatives.
Education:
- OTD and MS in Occupational Therapy from Boston University
- BA from Vassar College
Research & Practice Interests: Lynda’s work emphasizes geriatrics, pulmonary disorders, and social justice in healthcare. She advocates for aging-in-place solutions and intergenerational occupational therapy programs.
