Lynda Hawryluk is a Senior Lecturer in Writing and Course Coordinator of Creative Writing programs at the Faculty of Education, Southern Cross University. She lectures in Writing units and supervises Honours, Masters, and PhD students. Her research focuses on landscape poetry, island communities, Gothic coastlines, and ecopoetry. She is Deputy Chair of the Byron Writers Festival board and a community-engaged writing workshop facilitator.
