Lyn Ellett is a Professor of Psychology and Mental Health at the University of Southampton, affiliated with the School of Psychology. She also serves as Deputy Head of School (Education) within the same school.
Education:

- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Institute of Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience, King's College London
Her research focuses on psychosis, particularly exploring paranoia in the general population, persecutory delusions, hearing voices, and the application of mindfulness-based interventions for psychosis. Recent work examines the interplay between insomnia, discrimination, and paranoia in adolescents and clinical populations.

Lyn supervises PhD students including Emma Lauren Gregson, Emma Louise Bayford, Norma Rosanna Rosenek, and Dandan Guo. She joined the University of Southampton in 2022 after roles at Royal Holloway, University of London, where she advanced from Lecturer (2007) to Senior Lecturer (2014) and Reader (2018).
