Lukas Möller-Sappelt is a Research Assistant and Lecturer affiliated with the Chair of Political Economy at the University of Münster's School of Business and Economics. He holds an M.Sc. in Economics (2021) and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Economics (2019) from the same institution. His research focuses on Political Economy, Public Choice, and European Integration, with a notable publication analyzing Euroskepticism through econometric methods. He teaches courses such as Public Choice Theory and supervises research projects at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Since 2022, he has been a PhD candidate in Economics at Münster and serves as a Research and Teaching Assistant under Prof. Dr. Apolte. Additionally, he lectures at the HSPV NRW Münster (University of Applied Sciences) since 2021. His academic journey includes an Erasmus semester in Political Economy at the University of Warsaw (2018) and a banking apprenticeship (2013–2016).
He actively engages in academic activities through affiliations with the Centrum für Interdisziplinäre Wirtschaftsforschung (CIW) and organizes events like the PEDD Conference. His teaching spans seminars on legal and economic policy analysis, reflecting his interdisciplinary approach to political economy.
