Andreas Westermeier

Prof. Dr. Andreas Westermeier serves as a Professor and Vice Dean at the Faculty of Economic Law (FB 7) at Westfälische Hochschule. He teaches courses including Informationsmanagement, Controlling, Contract Law, and Risk Management at both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.

• Research focuses on Compliance (legal and economic), Controlling, and Risk Management systems.
• Professional experience spans public administration (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, Europäische Kommission), private industry (Deutsche Telekom AG, PricewaterhouseCoopers), and academia at Centrum für angewandte Wirtschaftsforschung Münster.
• Currently collaborating with the Department of Computer Science on app development/startup creation projects and analyzing the practical implementation of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act at a Bundesliga football club.
