Luisa Corrado

Luisa Corrado is a Professor of Economics at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, affiliated with the Department of Economics and Finance. She holds editorial roles as Deputy-Editor of Spatial Economic Analysis and Editorial Board Member of the National Institute Economic Review. Her research focuses on regional convergence, monetary policy, international economics, and well-being analysis.

She has received prestigious awards including the Marie-Curie Alumni Association Career Award (2019) and Excellence Award (2007). Her work was highlighted by the European Commission as one of the top 30 success stories among over 14,500 projects funded between 2003-2012.

Her research interests span macroeconomic modeling, regional growth dynamics, and the intersection of exchange rates with monetary systems. She contributes to policy-relevant analysis through her affiliations with the International Centre for Research Analysis (ICEA).
