Luigi Fattore

Luigi Fattore is an Associate Professor of Molecular Biology at Link Campus University in Rome, affiliated with the Department of Life Sciences, Health, and Health Professions. Previously, he worked as a healthcare researcher at the Regina Elena Cancer Institute in Rome and the Fondazione Pascale National Cancer Institute in Naples.

• Education: PhD in Experimental Medicine from Sapienza University of Rome (2015), with a focus on monoclonal antibodies against tyrosine kinase receptors for melanoma therapy.
• Research Focus: Drug resistance mechanisms in cancer, particularly melanoma, with emphasis on identifying microRNAs as therapeutic and diagnostic tools.

Scientific Contributions: Co-inventor of two internationally approved patents and author of 32 publications in international journals, 16 as lead author. His work has been recognized with awards for best oral presentations and posters at national and international conferences.

• Grants & Projects: Led research funded by the Italian League for the Fight against Cancer, Lazio Region, and the Pasteur Institute Italy, Cenci-Bolognetti Foundation. Received grants from the Italian Association for Cancer Research (AIRC) and the Umberto Veronesi Foundation during postdoctoral studies.
