Alessio Ceccherelli

Alessio Ceccherelli is an Associate Professor of Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes at Link Campus University in Rome. His academic focus centers on mediology, narrative forms in media, and the sociology of the imaginary, with particular attention to how social transformations shape cultural and communicative processes.

  • Laurea in Literature (University of Rome Tor Vergata), thesis on Giacomo Leopardi and Carlo Emilio Gadda

Research interests include transmedia narratives, digital communication technologies, and the interplay between literature and media. His recent publications explore case studies like Jane Austen, Sherlock Holmes, and Dracula in contemporary transmedia contexts, as well as translations and commentaries on theorists such as Michel Serres and Régis Debray.
