Professor Lucy Vickers is a faculty member at the School of Law and Social Sciences, Oxford Brookes University, where she serves as Director of Research. A qualified solicitor with degrees from Queens' College, Cambridge (MA, PhD), she holds the status of SFHEA (Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy). Her research focuses on human rights in the workplace, particularly religious discrimination, age equality, and freedom of speech, including whistleblowing protections and the European Convention on Human Rights. She has authored significant publications such as Freedom of Speech and Employment (OUP, 2002) and Religious Freedom, Religious Discrimination and the Workplace (Hart Publishing, 2nd edition, 2016).
