Lucy Gunning is a Senior Lecturer at Chelsea College of Arts, part of the University of the Arts London. Her practice focuses on installation, live events, and site-specific interventions, blending feminist, queer, decolonial, and ecological perspectives. She has exhibited internationally, including solo shows at Matt’s Gallery and Palfrey Space, and collaborative projects like [these roarers] at the Whitstable Biennale (2018). Gunning holds a BAFA in Sculpture from Falmouth University and an MA from Goldsmiths University. Her work explores performativity, temporality, and spatial politics, often engaging with architecture and public spaces. Awards include the Lorne Trust Award and the Kenneth Armitage Foundation Fellowship. Her research includes residencies at the Wordsworth Trust and collaborations with institutions like the Henry Moore Institute.
