Dr. Lucie Chateau is an Assistant Professor in the Media and Performance Studies department at the Faculty of Humanities, Utrecht University. Her research focuses on meme aesthetics, digital capitalism, and the intersection of affect theory with emerging digital cultures. She holds a PhD from Tilburg University (2023) and has taught at Tilburg and King's College London.
