Lubna Daraz is an Associate Professor in the School of Library and Information Science at the University of Montreal’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences. She previously held roles as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Research Fellow at the Mayo Clinic. Her research focuses on digital health information-seeking behaviors, health literacy, and equitable access to reliable health information for vulnerable populations.
Education:

Research Expertise:
Dr. Daraz develops evidence-based tools to improve health outcomes for disadvantaged groups. Her work addresses online health misinformation, evaluates health information quality, and promotes implementation science in healthcare. Key projects include a gold-standard benchmark for web health information credibility and interdisciplinary studies on COPD and migraine treatments.
