Louise Wallace is an Associate Lecturer in Forensic Psychology affiliated with the College of Health, Psychology and Social Care. Her research examines psychopathic personality traits, their relationship with atypical sexuality and sexual coercion proclivity, and psychological aspects of domestic abuse. She has developed the Successful Psychopathy Scale for clinical assessment.
Wallace's scholarly work focuses on psychopathy spectrum characteristics, their manifestation in sexual coercion and domestic violence contexts, and educational applications for reducing awarding gaps in higher education. Her research integrates clinical, forensic, and educational psychology frameworks.
Publications address psychopathy modulation of sexual behavior, self-harm prediction in domestic abuse contexts, and innovative applications of AI in reducing educational disparities. Recent work examines hypersexuality as a moderator between psychopathic traits and coercive behaviors.
Collaborative projects include cross-cultural studies on public perceptions of offender rehabilitation. Dr. Wallace has contributed to methodological advances through development and validation of the Successful Psychopathy Scale, providing new assessment tools for personality research.
